Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy Women's College is a premier institution serving tertiary education for 71 years, particularly to girl students of rural Telangana. Autonomous, NAAC-accredited with Grade "A" under the 5th Cycle, and affiliated to Osmania University.

17 teaching departments offering B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. and B.B.A. programs with 17 combinations, along with M.B.A. and M.Sc. programs in Computer Science, Mathematics, Organic Chemistry, Data Science, and Nutrition & Dietetics.

Department of Chemistry & Forensic Science

Started in 1954 with 59 intermediate students, now the largest department with 800 undergraduate students, 60 postgraduate students and 12 faculty members — also the Nodal Department for Forensic Science.

Equipped with a Centralized Instrumentation Research Laboratory (UV, FTIR, Fluorescence Spectrophotometers), MoUs with research institutions and industries, and recognized as a Research Centre by Osmania University with two research supervisors.
